An appealing, cottage-style house close to picturesque Padstow harbour and the sea offers an ideal holiday home for a small family or couples sharing. Comfortably furnished in contemporary style, the dog-friendly property sleeps four guests and up to three four-legged friends. Shops, cafes and restaurants are a 0.5-mile stroll away, along with galleries, traditional pubs and the bustling harbour. There is a wealth of glorious golden beaches within easy reach on both sides of the Camel Estuary, as well as superb coast and countryside walks.

The light and bright lounge has a pretty, coastal vibe, with soft blue sofas and a wood burner-effect electric fire for cosy nights in. Leading off this room is a neat kitchen and dining area. Upstairs are a family bathroom and two restful bedrooms: a double and a twin. Outside, a small, enclosed paved garden has patio furniture and a store. There is allocated parking for one car.

Feeling peckish as you stroll through Padstow? Pick up a pasty from one of the shops selling this famous meal-in-one. Stay on the harbour for boat trips to see the spectacular North Cornwall coast from the sea or spot marine wildlife in their natural habitat. A short ferry ride across the Camel Estuary takes you to the beautiful beach at Rock, where a water sports school offers training sessions in windsurfing, paddleboarding and more. The cottage is in a good location although take in mind a steep walk home the kitchen very limited storage so be aware before you take food I think the cottage would benefit from a deep clean throughout including the upholstery

Millies is cosy and in a good position for getting into Padstow .Its reasonably comfortable but needs some tlc generally. Not particularly dog friendly as kitchen is small and badly designed and no where for dogs to relieve themselves in yard which meant taking dogs up the road first thing and at night . No where to hang coats or put boots etc,weRead moret weather gear . Fridge is tiny and difficult to access. Heating was an issue as not on when we arrived and showing fault .Had to call caretaker out and delay our plans next day .It was a problem throughout our visit. Hide

Cottages was well presented, did say in email bring own towels however towels were supplied. Location was at the top of a steep hill therefore might not be suitable for elderly people.

Fridge/freezer is small, but Tesco is 5min walk away, wish I'd known this before as did large online shop, struggled to fit everything in. Small compact cottage, good location. Terrible television signal though. Good instant hot water in shower.

The proximity of this property to Padstow harbour and amenities is awesome! A 5 minute walk and you are in the heart of the town. The property was very disappointing. It is not 4 star as shown on the website, or 3 star as shown on the front of the property, it's more 2 star. The kitchen is too small, there is no storage. We had a Tesco shop arriRead moreve and no where to put it! The fridge/freezer combo is smaller than a small dishwasher. There is an overwhelming smell of wet dog, even though we have a dog this was above and beyond! The photos are very out of date, the garden front and back is overgrown with large weeds. Sadly this was not what we were expecting for a 4 star accommodation and we would not recommend. Hide
