Wake up to the sound of the sea at this peaceful coastal haven above Polruan, with space for a large group of family or friends and stunning views from the house and garden. It’s close to the coastal path with incredible walks and beaches nearby and has lots of space with a lounge, TV room, dining room, conservatory, kitchen, four bedrooms, and three bathrooms.
The house is in an amazing setting and makes a very welcoming home from home. Relax in the lounge, with a TV and DVD player, in the TV/coffee room, which has a second TV, a large desk and a comfy sofa, or in the conservatory, where there are panoramic views. Cook up a feast for everyone in the spacious kitchen and enjoy it in the dining room, where the huge window provides awesome views. There’s also a handy shower room and WC downstairs. Upstairs are the four lovely bedrooms: two twins (one has a small balcony with a sea view), a double and a king with an en-suite bathroom; as well as a family bathroom. Soak up the views in the terraced garden with drinks on the patio as the sun goes down.
The picturesque coast path is just metres from the house, where you might spot seals and you will see sea birds and other wildlife. For a lovely walk with amazing views, head to Polperro (7 miles) along the cliff tops. Two of Cornwall’s highlights are nearby, the Eden Project (7.5 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (23.5 miles). Spend the day on the beach, hop on a ferry across from the quay (500 metres) to visit Fowey, then call in at the local pub (0.5 miles) on your way home for some hearty fare.
