The property is ideally located just 200 yards from Padstow Harbour, where you can indulge in top-notch seafood and explore the sandy beaches. There’s also a range of boutiques and gift shops to wander around. Walk along the South West Coast Path, starting from the harbour, which will take you to St George’s Cove (just 1 mile away), or rent bikes and cycle the scenic Camel Trail to Wadebridge (5.5 miles). Just under a mile away, on the outskirts of town, the Elizabethan manor house of Prideaux Place is a fascinating place to visit. If you’re after adventure, head to Harlyn Bay Beach (3 miles) for surfing or dog-friendly Rock Beach (1 mile) for long walks along the golden sands and rambles through the dunes. Family-friendly attractions nearby include the Eden Project (20.5 miles), Newquay Zoo (16.5 miles), several National Trust properties and gardens, and Bodmin Steam Railway (15.5 Miles).

Upstairs on the second floor, the double bedroom is a peaceful sanctuary with fresh interiors and a charming bistro table for enjoying views of the estuary.

We really enjoyed our stay here, having walked passed it hundreds of times and not knowing it was there it really is the hidden hideaway cottage, clean tidy and everything you need, the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch although not in the centre of Padstow its literally 2 minutes walk. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay in Hideaway Cottage. Took us a while to find but got there eventually. The property has all the equipment you need for a break for home. Just a little dated in parts but nothing a paint wouldnt sort. The bedrooms were ok, again adequate storage, perhaps need to be a little more modern. Spacious 3 bed cottage. Bath and bed linen clean and fresh. Quality cook ware. Dishwasher and washing machine. Location was fantastic. No road noise. Perfect communications running up to our holiday. Thank you
