Enjoy the beauty of south east Cornwall from the small, riverside village of Bodinnick. Sleeping four guests, this two-bedroom cottage offers single-storey accommodation and beautiful, lawned gardens that capture views out over the surrounding countryside. Head out on long coastal walks, spend time on beautiful beaches and enjoy your proximity to Fowey with its colourful restaurants and shops.
Climb the steps up from the road to let yourselves into this modern retreat. Head inside to find open-plan living, with a lounge/kitchen/diner where you can sit back and relax after your busy days out. Find a good film to enjoy together on the Smart TV, choose a DVD or read your books before preparing dinner for your party. Dine inside or out, depending on the weather. When day turns to night, wander through to one of the two double bedrooms. There is also a family bathroom and a separate WC at this property. Sit out to the front of the cottage to look out over the water to Fowey while you have your morning coffee or light the BBQ in the lawned garden to the rear to eat out in the fresh air during the summer months. There is parking for two cars at this property.
Hop over to Fowey from Bodinnick by taking the ferry from the slipway 350 metres away or take the long way round, driving 15 miles via Lostwithiel, pausing to see Restormel Castle on the way. Spend time on the beach at the National Trust’s picturesque and sheltered cove Lantic Bay. Lansallos Beach, 2.5 miles away, is another beauty spot to visit. Both these places are accessible via the South West Coast Path for any keen walkers. The Eden project is 6 miles from Bodinnick if you take your car over the river on the ferry.
