Surrounded by peaceful woodlands, this delightful two-bedroom retreat makes a lovely holiday getaway for couples and families discovering a tranquil corner of South Cornwall. Set on a small and charming holiday park on the banks of the River Lynher, the relaxing wooden lodge has ample space for four guests and has been tastefully furnished and thoughtfully updated throughout. Lying just to the west of Saltash, this light-filled hideaway features a wood burner, exposed brickwork and a private hot tub alongside some useful facilities onsite, including a children’s play area, swimming pool and tennis court.
This light-filled lodge features an airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with high vaulted ceilings, a delightful central dining table and a fully equipped galley kitchen. The lounge has a TV and ample seating, alongside an open fire set in a brick surround. Exploring this stylish retreat, you will find an invigorating bathroom and two cosy bedrooms: a lovely twin and a fresh, cheerful king-size room. Stepping outside, the patio has a garden table offering an ideal spot for dining alfresco on a sunny day. There’s space for children to play on the shared lawn or in the shared play area. Other facilities onsite include a tennis court and a heated outdoor swimming pool in the summer. Private parking is available for one car outside the lodge with further space in the shared private car park.
With the friendly town of Saltash on the banks of the Tamar to the east (3 miles) and the picturesque coastal resort of Looe to the southwest (17 miles), this is an ideal base for exploring South Cornwall. Whitsand Bay (12 miles) offers miles of beautiful beaches, while popular inland attractions include the Adrenalin Quarry, Port Eliot Gardens, The Cornish Maize Maze and the National Trust property of Antony, all within 17 miles.
