Built into the side of the stunning Tregonhawke cliffs, this traditional timber chalet provides a wonderfully secluded getaway for couples discovering the magical coastline of South Cornwall. Offering a breathtaking vista across Whitsand Bay and towards the famous Eddystone Lighthouse, the property features a choice of tranquil outdoor areas, a cosy wood burner and tasteful decor. Making a fabulous romantic hideaway for two, this elegant single-level waterside retreat makes a lovely holiday base for walkers, beach lovers and nature spotters, with chances to glimpse dolphins out to sea.

A steep 500-metre walk leads down from the car park to the entrance of this charming holiday chalet. Two sets of bi-fold doors allow plenty of light into the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which boasts wonderful sea views. Beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and a wood burner, the lounge backs onto a fully equipped kitchen area and a dining table, perfect for sharing a romantic meal together. The chalet also features a light and sophisticated king-size bedroom and a refreshing bathroom. Outside, there’s a choice of seating areas including the front deck with seating looking out towards Rame Head, and the side pergola with a pair of loungers which convert into a full-size bed. There’s a raised picnic table and a bistro table offering a choice of al fresco dining options as you take in the amazing views.

Steps lead down to the quiet Tregonhawke Beach, a beautiful sandy stretch of Whitsand Bay Beach popular with surfers. Walkers can head east to explore the Rame Head Heritage Coast (2 miles) and Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park (4.5 miles). A little further east, the bustling city of Plymouth (10 miles) has some fantastic places to eat and drink, or you can travel west along the coast to the picturesque resort of Looe (14 miles).

Lovely cosy chalet, perfect size for 2. Thoughtfully laid out + equipped with some really nice extra touches (e.g. bottle of bubbly, coffee beans). Use of space both inside and outside is very clever. Even on the 2 cloudy days we had it was great to have the doors open onto the balcony with the 180deg view or the sea and coast. Everything was just Read moreperfect for us. Can't recommend this place highly enough! Only note, if you are unfit or have mobility problems then probably not the place for you! Hide

A lovely quite relaxing chalet with a stunning view. Has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. It is very steep walk back up to your car so only recommend to for people who are fit and active.
