The wow-factor property has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard and offers open-plan living, with all areas blending seamlessly into the others. After long days of trekking through spectacular rugged scenery, chill out in the cosy lounge area, featuring a Smart TV. In the mornings, prepare huge cooked breakfasts with all the trimmings in the pristine kitchen. There’s a dining table inside for enjoying meals together or, if the weather’s good, head out to the decked area to eat. The Wheal Peevor Site, 150 metres from your front door, is a network of tracks and trails taking in 18th-century mineshafts and engine houses – a must for history aficionados. Head down to the sea (3 miles) to join the South West Coast Path for short or long strolls with plenty of photo opportunities. The cathedral city of Truro (10 miles) is well worth the trip for a fun day out.

Excellent property, very comfortable, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. A very quiet spot. Plenty of space to park and if the weather is nice there is great outdoor space too.

The Barn was gorgeous and well positioned for access to all parts of Cornwall as well as beaches and shops and yet was in the middle of the countryside.
