Travel 2 miles by car or on foot and you’ll find the charming seaside destination of Looe where you can wander the pier, feel the sand between your toes on the beach and indulge in fine fish and chips before heading home. Fowey (7 miles) is easily accessible via the passenger ferry to spend a day perusing the local shops and restaurants for a leisurely afternoon. A must-visit whilst staying in this part of Cornwall is the Eden Project (22 miles), an eco-visitor attraction with the world’s largest indoor rainforest which offers an immersive experience that appeals to all ages.
