This cottage is a great base for a holiday on the South Cornwall coast with traditional interiors and original features such as exposed stone walls. Situated in the village of Polperro, an array of local shops and restaurants can be found on your doorstep, as well as access to the South West Coast Path for walking adventures in the rugged landscape.

Get cosy in the living room with its sumptuous corner sofa and footstool which offers space for the whole family to sprawl out. A wood burner sits in the centre of the room, set into a beautiful feature wall which is great for film nights during the winter months. Across the hall is the kitchen/diner, which is modern, with everything you’ll need to get cooking as well as a table seating five for mealtimes spent together. Completing the ground floor is the family shower room. Upstairs are two tasteful double bedrooms with built-in storage to help you feel completely at home. The final bedroom is a minimalistic styled single bedroom, perfect for adults and children, with a pull-out trundle bed if needed. Out in the garden, you’ll find a seating area where you can sit and sip coffee in the morning or watch the stars sparkle at night.

Travel 2 miles by car or on foot and you’ll find the charming seaside destination of Looe where you can wander the pier, feel the sand between your toes on the beach and indulge in fine fish and chips before heading home. Fowey (7 miles) is easily accessible via the passenger ferry to spend a day perusing the local shops and restaurants for a leisurely afternoon. A must-visit whilst staying in this part of Cornwall is the Eden Project (22 miles), an eco-visitor attraction with the world’s largest indoor rainforest which offers an immersive experience that appeals to all ages.

The cottage is very well located in the village, near the center and the paths. It is comfortable, well equipped and nice. We appreciate the little courtyard, very practical when you have a dog, she could stay outside as she wants. We'll come back in this cottage when we' return to Polperro next year. Bedrooms are very comfortable and nice.

Hillcrest was a lovely cottage - great location, facilities and really cosy on a stormy day. Had a fab stay and will definitely be back!

Fabulous little cottage great location. Super comfortable bed and sofa. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean didn't smell doggie. We had a wonderful time thank you.
