With a homely rustic appearance and gorgeous sea views, this delightful couple’s retreat in West Cornwall is a wonderful spot for a romantic break. You’ll be 2.5 miles from the beach at Lamorna Cove, where you can swim and bask on the sandy beach. Join the South West Coast Path for scenic strolls past clifftop farms and granite quarries, or enjoy slap-up evening meals in one of the many great eateries in Penzance (4.5 miles). And when it’s time to come home, you’ll have an indulgent soak in your private hot tub to look forward to!

The inside is  beautifully styled 'hotel suite' with an open-plan layout. You will find an impressive handcrafted four-poster bed and a large sofa covered in ethnic cushions. Unusual details such as a stained-glass door and a copper bathroom sink add to the charm of this period property, which boasts an exposed stone wall and a vaulted ceiling propped up by wooden ceiling beams. Light the candles and spark up the multi-fuel burner to create a cosy atmosphere for a blissful evening with your loved one. A Smart TV sets you up for a relaxed film night with a glass of wine. Outside, you’ll have a quiet courtyard and summerhouse for relaxing in the fresh air and with the sea just 300m away as the crow flies, the views are fantastic.

You’ll have a pub and a shop around 2 miles away, and plenty of great options for day trips nearby – head to the tidal island of St Michael’s Mount (9.5 miles) or experience England’s most westerly point at Land’s End (8.5 miles). Sennen Cove (9.5 miles) is excellent for surfing while at Porthcurno (10 miles) you can try paddleboarding in calm waters. Amazingly beautiful place and surroundings, the little touches of lighting candles, rose petals on the bed and some bubbles on ice made it that bit more perfect. My wife and I enjoyed soaking our troubles away in the hot tub, bathed in blue skies and just the sound of birds and bees, so tranquil. Thank you so much.
