Such a wonderful cottage. The views over the farmers fields watching the cows whilst in the hot tub will never be forgotten. We used the outside kitchen and bbq every night, and even used the hot plate for breakfast. The gardens are utterly splendid, we used the fire pit and toasted marshmallows, a must if you stay. One big bonus for us was a fabulRead moreous dog walk along the river right outside the gate. Make sure you get fish and chips from a van that visits the site, cooked fresh, amazing!! Hide

Overall lovely house in a beautiful garden with lots of special features. Some we didn't use at all because of young grandchildren with us, so no hot tub use for us. We also avoided using barbecue or the cooking facilities in the outdoor kitchen - but we did eat up there on two or three occasions to make a lovely change, with splendid views. FirepiRead moret nice idea but not used as children asleep in house in the evenings. Maybe the house would be better suited to older families or groups of adults? Hide

This is not just any luxury cottage. The inside would make Lawrence Lleweyn Bowen proud, the garden would please Monty Don. An amazing place. Hot tub in the rain. Very comfortable beds. After years of UK cottage holidays, this is the first place that we would swap our own home for.
