It’s located in a sweet hamlet 1.5 miles from the sea at Holywell Bay, known for its surfing and dramatic cliffs. Spend your days following your excited dogs on walks along the South West Coast Path (1.5 miles), then lay your head in your blissful holiday home brimming with charm and rustic features.

You’ll be impressed by the picture-perfect appearance of this Grade II-listed accommodation, with its raw stonework and dainty mullion windows. The open-plan lounge/diner is a glorious place to relax with fellow guests, with its exposed beams and charming window seats. In the hand-built kitchen, sizzle up cooked breakfasts as you admire the farmhouse style of this stylish space. From the tasteful rugs to the cheerful bathroom tiles, every little detail has been thoughtfully added to bring out the cottage’s alluring character. And if it’s fine weather, take a glass outside to enjoy on the lush green lawn, furnished with a bench and table so you can delight in a serene moment in the fresh air.

You’ll have a choice of wonderful sandy locations nearby, from the golden dunes of Crantock Bay (1.5 miles) to the vibrant beach bar at Perranporth (5 miles). Cubert Common offers (3 miles) offers scenic walks across open grassland peppered with rare flowers like primrose, cowslips and squill – listen out for skylarks chattering overhead. At the River Gannel (3.5 miles), spend afternoons stand-up paddleboarding or taking leisurely waterside walks.

A wonderful, cosy cottage. Everything we needed was there and all very clean and tidy. Julie (owner) was very friendly and helpful. The local beaches are amazing.

This cottage is a dream come true for any holiday maker it is all immaculate and such a peaceful and great location there are shops and pubs nearby within walking distance and the beaches are lovely especially Polly joke beach The host is also very nice too

The cottage itself is charming and picturesque. We had a very comfortable stay and provided you remembered the low spots, no bumped heads ! We had our large Retriever with us and walks are plentiful from the doorstep and beyond. The roaming , very pretty chickens, ducks and peacock also a nice distraction. Absolutely honored to be the first paying guests at Wychwood Cottage. The cottage has been very tastefully restored and has every comfort one would need. Julie has been an excellent host and been attentive to all our needs. This is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in.
