With its slate flooring, oil-fired Aga and traditional beams, this Cornish country cottage offers a picturesque escape amongst the unbridled beauty of The Roseland Heritage Coast. This Grade II-listed place is surrounded by never-ending fields and delightful greenery which lend the holiday home a sense of serenity, peace and quiet. The property offers a warm and welcoming retreat for five guests, perfect for a smaller family, and is dog-friendly for those eager to hike the heritage coastline with canine company.

Despite its plentiful original features, the property has been lovingly updated to reach superb standards with up-to-date appliances and ever-comfortable furnishings. Once worn out, three comfortable bedrooms await on the first floor – a sumptuous king-size room, a welcoming double, and a single bedroom. Serving the bedrooms is a delightful family bathroom with a freestanding, roll-top bath.

The south-facing Pendower Beach should be your first port of call on any sunny day, offering a golden arc of sand for unwinding, sunbathing and ball games. Along with sitting on the coastal path, it’s also part of the Cornish Way Cycle Route for those hoping to get to know Cornwall’s scenery with the help of two wheels. Walk or bike down to St Mawes (6 miles) where you can board a pleasant passenger ferry over to Falmouth (9 miles).

Its a lovely property and well equipped. My husband found the aga easy to use. Nothing that hasnt been said before. Drive is tight but we managed it. Very peaceful and lovely to sit in the garden listening to the birds. Great pub within walking distance, Sunday lunch was lovely.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a peaceful location, great for recharging the batteries. Great garden for relaxing and no need to worry about dogs escaping - its fully enclosed. The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful. Though as we went in summer the house was very warm due to the Aga being on constantly on. This would be a perfect to visit in the winter. Please be aware the house and drive is accessed by very tight turning. It was tricky but doable in a camper van though we parked on the road without issues

Trescore is enchanting in a truly magical location on the beautiful unspoilt Roseland Pensinsula. Only the sound of birdsong and the occasional distant tractor interrupt the idyllic silence. The house is brilliantly equipped for keen cooks. The owners have thought of everything - an HDMI cable, dog bowls and towels, multiple copies of maps! The selRead moreection of books is great and the dog was home from home with his bed by the Aga. It would be wonderful in the autumn too, cosied up by the log burner. Hide

Beautiful cottage in a very special location with nice views. The interior is very well chosen. All is very good maintained. Special feature for us was the Aga oven. We had a fantastic time in our home away from home. A place to come back to.
