Escape to Cornwall for an adventure in a beautifully converted barn, part of a small complex on a working farm. This four-bed property marries rustic and original features with modern styling and design to a high spec for a really relaxing stay. With four bedrooms on the ground floor, it’s ideal for a multi-generational break with family or friends – and don’t forget your dogs. You’ll all love spending time in the open-plan living area with the doors open wide for that outside-inside vibe. Within 5 miles of Helston, it’s ideal as a base for exploring both inland and along the famous coastline.

This detached, family-friendly barn conversion offers split-level comfortable living. Leave shoes in the hallway, before stepping down into the wonderful lounge/kitchen/diner. This living area takes full advantage of wonderful countryside views and feels light and airy with its vaulted apex ceiling and some exposed beams. Open the wide bi-folding doors and bring the outdoors in. Hot hounds will love it as they can come and go. Dine in front of the doors, or just outside on the terrace in the large, enclosed garden. Lounge on the comfortable sofas off to the side, or prepare treats for the BBQ around the corner in the sleek kitchen. Four relaxing bedrooms comprise three king-size (one can be a twin), and a twin room for good versatility.

Put your boots on and stride out on the many footpaths around this farm. The quaint fishing harbour of Porthleven and its independent shops and fabulous food is 6.5 miles. St Ives (12 miles) boasts an array of cafes and cultural treats including the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum. Iconic St Michael’s Mount at Marazion (9 miles) is a must-visit, reached via the causeway at low tide.

Everything was absolutely perfect, so clean, tidy and had everything you need. The property was beautiful and so relaxing. 7 of us stayed and we would all recommend. Owners were so friendly and made you feel so welcome. So much around and only a short drive to a Tesco or Sainsbury's. Couldn't recommend the property enough.
