One of a small collection of holiday cottages, this gorgeous cottage in the heart of the Cornish countryside is perfect for exploring the coast and country. Eight miles from the sea and stunning beaches, and with a National Trust estate less than a mile away, there’s lots to discover nearby. With special features, like the cosy wood burner, private hot tub, and games console, it’s perfect for a family holiday.

Stunning original features have been combined with bold contemporary design, creating a comfy home from home vibe. The open-plan living area is upstairs where you can have a cosy night in front of the wood burner and Smart TV and enjoy meals together at the beautiful handmade table in the kitchen. The four bedrooms are downstairs: two king size, a double and a twin, all with plush soft furnishings and Smart TVs. The two bathrooms are also on the ground floor. Outside you can relax in the bubbling hot tub or cook dinner on the BBQ while the kids play in the garden.

The cottage is on a country lane next to a working farm not far from the A30. It’s less than a mile to Lanhydrock estate, 900 acres of parkland with gorgeous walks. There’s also a golf course and a restaurant within 1 mile and the nearest beach, Par Sands, is 8 miles away – a huge sandy bay next to the village of Par you can take your furry friends on all year round. You’ll find lots of other beautiful beaches on the south and north coasts and stunning scenery on walks along the South West Coast Path. Foodie heaven Padstow is 18 miles away, The Eden Project 8 miles away and the Lost Gardens of Heligan 17 miles.

  • Private hot tub (please be advised the hot tub usage is restricted to 10pm to respect the neighbours adjoining the property).  IMPORTANT - from November to end of March the  hot tub is an optional extra, charged at £100 per short stay or £150 per stay above four nights. To be arranged with owner prior to stay.
  • Driveway parking for 2 cars adjacent to the property (extra parking on request)
  • Beach 8 miles, shop 3 miles, golf course and restaurant 1 mile

  • 3 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Fantastic location for exploring. Property is clean, warm, very comfortable and has everything you could need. The hot tub is perfect after a full day of walking. Garden is fully enclosed which was great for the dogs. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, a beautiful cottage with great facilities and ideally placed for day trips out exploring all that Cornwall has to offer. Would strongly recommend and would love to stay again in future.

Fantastic cottage in a great location. Excellent communication with the owners. Had everything we needed and more. Welcome hamper was a really nice touch to our stay. Hot tub was heaven after a long day exploring Cornwall. Would definitely recommend.
