Ideally located in the north of Cornwall near the seaside town of Bude, you’ll have plenty to do during your stay. There are several sandy beaches with great surf, the scenic Harland (Cornwall) Heritage Coast for scenic walks, and opportunities for shopping and dining out. In the evenings, settle down in this elegant and contemporary riverfront apartment with a sociable open-plan layout and an attractive courtyard with a BBQ.

Step inside this cosy and laidback apartment and find yourself inside the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner. The ‘U’-shaped kitchen is well organised, ideally sized to cater for four guests and has a breakfast bar. Take a load off in the lounge on the sofa or relax in one of the two armchairs in front of the Smart TV. Continue into the romantic master bedroom which has a king-size bed and a Smart TV. The second bedroom contains a bunk bed with a double base and a Smart TV. There is also a family shower room with a shower cubicle and WC. Outside is a neat and sheltered courtyard with garden furniture and a table and chairs.

The town of Stratton is home to a couple of eateries, a handful of shops and a museum, all within 0.5 miles. Just 2 miles west is the town of Bude. Here, you’ll find the Bude Sea Pool (2.5 miles), Summerleaze Beach (2.5 miles), seafood restaurants and a canal (2 miles). Further north is the Hartland (Cornwall) Heritage Coast (2 miles) where you can find the National Trust Sandymouth Bay Beach (4.5 miles) and the South West Coast Path to explore (3 miles).

The apartment is in a lovely position although there is no parking which I was aware of when booking although a free car park is 3 minutes walk away, i guess it would be very busy at peak time but we always found a space. 35 minute walk into the centre of Bude which is easy. There is not much to do in Stratton so is was used purely as a base to disRead morecover the surrounding area. Didn't go into the pubs as they had no tables so that was disappointing, supermarkets were a 5 minute drive away. Hide

I spent Christmas and New Year in this lovely little cottage, the moment I walked through the door I felt very at home. The ambience was warm and cosy, home from home, modernly decorated, there was everything you needed. The courtyard is a fair size where you could watch the bubbling river. I had two dogs so we went to a different beach nearly everRead morey day, as none of them were too far away. The owners extremely helpful, kind and understanding. Beautiful little place to stay Location is perfect and only a few minutes til you reach the centre of Bude The downside is the parking You have a car park which you can park for free but always difficult to find a space as its free parking

A lovely, compact apartment, ideal for a couple exploring Cornwall. Very clean and tastefully decorated with comfortable seating and bed. A lovely setting by a river and close to two pubs. A short walk to the car park which didnt bother us but may not be suitable for those less mobile.

Lovely place to stay very modern cottage and everything you needed there. The bed was so comfy like sleeping on huge marshmallow! The hotel food was really good.
