Delightful and spacious, this detached property is well located to explore the North Cornwall coastline with loved ones and dogs!

Come on a Cornish adventure and stay in this generous three-bed cottage in Rose, within 2 miles of Perranporth with its glorious long, golden beach. It’s got something for all the family (including two dogs), with a pretty garden, an open fire as well as a cosy wood burner to snuggle up by, and a baby football table. There’s plenty of room to kick back and relax as well. In a nice, quiet spot, this detached property is just what you need to de-stress.

This lovely cottage feels modern inside and welcomes you with a homely lounge complete with an open fire. There’s another snug-type room for anyone fancying some time out or for younger members as it’s got a sofa, bean bag, games and TV. The wood burner is in the sleek kitchen/diner, where you can take it in turns to cook up and eat a holiday feast! From this space, climb the stairs to the elegant twin and king-size en-suite bedrooms. There’s another stylish king-size bedroom on the ground floor. Doors lead from the snug and dining area into the enclosed garden with borders, decking, lawn and patio areas.

Perranporth is a resort town, so it’s bustling with plenty of shopping, eating and drinking opportunities. But, if that’s too lively, the 3-mile-long beach soon quietens down as you get further from the car park and you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Join the South West Coast Path for stretches in either direction if your dogs are young and you are keen walkers. Visit beaches, often popular surfing spots, along this stretch of coastline. The National Trust’s St Agnes Head (8 miles) has footpaths along the cliff top through heather and gorse, complete with a chapel and panoramic views over Kernow from its beacon.

The property is advertised as being on the edge of Perranporth but it is up the hill in Rose. The footpath to the beach was totally overgrown and impassable. The climb from Perranporth back to rosetook 45 minutes on lanes with no footpaths, not suitable for children or the infirm. Downstairs bed was uncomfortable. Garden was tiny and getting on and off the drive was difficult. Perranporth was lovely and the property is conveniently situated for getting to other places. Enjoyed our stay and our 2 labradors enjoyed staying with us as well as the beaches nearby

Good value for money. Lots of space. Enclosed garden for dogs was a plus. Might be a bit basic for some, but understandable as dogs are allowed. Good location for visiting local area . It was nice and quiet.

Ideal for families. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Had to put the heating on for one evening which was available and easy to operate. Plenty of plugs and USB ports were useful. All the facilities were there as advertised.

Perfection location. Lovely walk across common down to beach takes approx half an hour if quick walker. Wouldnt recommend road walk if you have young children or dogs. I drive long wheel base van so entering/exiting drive was tight. Would certainly go back and recommend to others.
