Come on a Cornish adventure and stay in this generous three-bed cottage in Rose, within 2 miles of Perranporth with its glorious long, golden beach. It’s got something for all the family (including two dogs), with a pretty garden, an open fire as well as a cosy wood burner to snuggle up by, and a baby football table. There’s plenty of room to kick back and relax as well. In a nice, quiet spot, this detached property is just what you need to de-stress.

This lovely cottage feels modern inside and welcomes you with a homely lounge complete with an open fire. There’s another snug-type room for anyone fancying some time out or for younger members as it’s got a sofa, bean bag, games and TV. The wood burner is in the sleek kitchen/diner, where you can take it in turns to cook up and eat a holiday feast! From this space, climb the stairs to the elegant twin and king-size en-suite bedrooms. There’s another stylish king-size bedroom on the ground floor. Doors lead from the snug and dining area into the enclosed garden with borders, decking, lawn and patio areas.

Perranporth is a resort town, so it’s bustling with plenty of shopping, eating and drinking opportunities. But, if that’s too lively, the 3-mile-long beach soon quietens down as you get further from the car park and you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Join the South West Coast Path for stretches in either direction if your dogs are young and you are keen walkers. Visit beaches, often popular surfing spots, along this stretch of coastline. The National Trust’s St Agnes Head (8 miles) has footpaths along the cliff top through heather and gorse, complete with a chapel and panoramic views over Kernow from its beacon.

The beds and linens were clean & the floor had been mopped on arrival, but overall it needs a deep clean. Perfect central location for local beaches & some great local eateries - we chose to eat out every night because the appliances were greasy & not clean.

A spacious cottage that was a great base for two adults and two children (including one teenager). Plenty of clean bedding and towels (even tea towels) provided. Facilities were more than adequate. Plenty of cooking utensils and laundry equipment. There is even a games room for full of entertainment (pool table, books, games). Lovely garden with ouRead moretside seating and table. Near to bus stop with a regular bus service to Perranporth. Hide

Lovely house in the village of Rose. 3 good sized bedrooms with a lovely kitchen diner. A nice back garden to sit out in and plenty of room for 2 cars to park on the drive. Bus 87 which runs from Truro to Newquay via Perranporth was really useful, catching it at Rose Crossroads and saves walking up the steep hill from Perranporth
