Stop off for a refresher at the village of Ludgvan’s welcoming pub (less than a mile) serving local ales and hearty dishes, or head to the coast (1.5 miles) for a day at Long Rock’s sand and shingle beach where you can also join the South West Coast Path for a walk along the rugged coastline. With a huge range of attractions and incredible natural beauty, it’s no surprise that Cornwall is such a firm holiday favourite. The fabulous beach of Praa Sands is 6 miles away, where you can try your hand at surfing and take on the waves, or for a more sedate day out, watch an outdoor performance at the breathtaking Minack Theatre (12 miles). Land’s End (12.5 miles) marks the most westerly point of mainland Britain, where the Atlantic rollers crash against towering cliffs, and the historic town of Penzance is 2.5 miles away, home to a fantastic range of shops and eateries boasting fresh regional produce.

What lovely little place to stay, nicely tuck away of the main roads. We were lucky enough to sit out on the patio with our morning tea, taking in the beautiful views of st Michaels mounts. The cottage was spotless, nice and cosy on arrival, bed was comfy for us also. Good location to explore the area. It is as the photographs show, only better.

Perfect cottage for couples! The view of St Michaels Mount from the patio is lovely in the morning with your coffee. Great cottage if you want somewhere away from the busy Cornwall towns but still close enough to Penzance and Marazion that you dont feel youre in the too isolated.
