Quaint and cosy to the core, leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind at this traditional Cornish cottage set in a secluded rural north Cornwall location. Boasting a fabulous garden and roaring wood burner, this property is perfect for those looking for a peaceful getaway in the West Country.

Where rustic charm meets contemporary touches, this cottage welcomes you into a quaint living/dining room, showcasing the cottage’s rich history through the beamed ceiling, exposed brick fireplace and roaring wood burner; there’s no better antidote to warm you after a bracing hike along the South West Coast Path. A beautiful window seat offers you a whimsical space to relax or tuck into a hearty meal prepared in the adjoining light and bright kitchen. A neutral colour palette with some eye-catching pops of colour maintains the calm and peaceful aesthetic across the two charming bedrooms upstairs, which feature more characterful beams and another window seat. Step out into the stunning cottage garden at the rear, featuring a perfect patio space so you can dine alfresco among the stars, and large lawn children and your four-legged friend will love exploring.

Only 8 miles from the coast and often included in the Sunday Times Best Places to Live list, discover why the locals love the traditional Cornish town of Wadebridge so much, which straddles the River Camel and boasts Cornwall’s highest number of independent shops. Within 10 miles, you can discover romantic hidden coves, long sandy stretches perfect for sandcastles and some of the country’s best surfing hotspots; the surfing mecca Newquay (16 miles) and the postcard-perfect St George’s Cove (8.5 miles) are not to be missed. Nestled in 111 acres of Cornish countryside, enjoy a family adventure at Camel Creek Adventure Park 7.5 miles away, a haven of adrenalin-pumping rides, children’s play areas, animal encounters and woodland walks.

Lovely quiet cottage in a really pretty village. Happy with our choice & stay which all of us enjoyed and it was great to be able to have our dog with us too. Shame the weather didn't allow us to use the lovely garden & enjoy the views. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

We had a wonderful stay at Wren. Good accommodation and really great location to discover all of the beaches and bays which are all within a 30 min drive. Wadebridge is great for amenities - a large Tesco superstore just five minutes in the car as well as pubs and local independent shops. A trip to the Regal cinema in Wadebridge is worth it too, thRead moree oldest cinema in North Cornwall and a real treat. Wed love to come back, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, good size garden. Great for 2 adults. Would have been ok for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 smallish children but a bit cramped for 4 adults. Lovely towels. Very peaceful setting.
