Set a mile away from the sea this fabulous and spacious property has everything you need to enjoy a Cornish coastal holiday.
Sleeping five people in its three bedrooms, this house is a great base for a Cornish getaway. Relax in the conservatory before dining alfresco in the patio garden. Its proximity to Carlyon Bay means it's peaceful, yet easy to get to the dramatic and pretty coastline. Days spent at the stunning sandy beach of Crinnis make for a quintessential seaside holiday, while a trip to Charlestown Harbour will keep Poldark fans entertained. It was the setting for many of its scenes.
The house itself is a real home-from-home. Cosy soft furnishings and bright, light interiors make it a very comfortable property to stay in. The hallway has plenty of space for any outerwear, while the lounge has more than enough seating for all guests to kick back and relax while watching the Smart TV. The kitchen has a sleek and contemporary design and remains light and bright. It has everything you should need to rustle up any food for your trip, which can be eaten at the bistro table or in the conservatory, where there is a dining table. Patio doors lead from the conservatory to the garden. Upstairs are the property’s three bedrooms - a single, a double and a room with a super-king-size bed. The double has views over the garden to the countryside beyond. The family bathroom completes the accommodation. Out in the garden, guests can enjoy fine weather on the garden furniture while dining al fresco.
While Carlyon Bay is easily the closest sandy beach for the property, there’s also Porthpean Beach (2.5 miles) and Duporth Beach (1.5 miles) just west of Charlestown. They’re worth a visit if you fancy a change of scenery. Of course, you could drive north to Newquay (20 miles) and swap coastlines, or you could stay closer to home and see the Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan, which are just 4 miles from the front door.
