An idyllic rural setting with walks on your doorstep; the cottage has been lovingly fitted and furnished in a contemporary country style and welcomes dogs too.
Holiday in style on your Cornish escape in this elegant, two-bedroom cottage that’s stylish but manages to still exude a homely feel. Nestled within a courtyard of similar cottages, it’s in the quiet hamlet location of Tredethy that’s great for discovering North Cornwall. Contemporary styling marries well with original features. So, bring your other half or small family – plus up to two canine chums – for the trip of a lifetime. Head out exploring far and wide or do nothing more than relax and walk. With plenty of footpaths almost from the door, the dogs certainly will love it.
Step straight into the bright and airy lounge/kitchen/diner. It’s beautifully decorated in light, neutral tones with a charming mix of the modern and the old, with features including wood panelling and deeply recessed cottage-style windows. Leave the front door open for a breeze or to let the dogs come and go. At bedtime, head upstairs from the lounge area to find one king-size and one single bedroom, which are elegant and relaxing spaces. They share a contemporary shower room with sleek tiling. Outside and to the side of the property is a shared garden area with both lawn and gravel, plus picnic tables.
This quaint cottage is in an idyllic spot, in the heart of the Cornish countryside, which means it affords easy access to both North and South Cornish coastlines. To the north, go on a TV tour to Port Isaac (Doc Martin, 8.5 miles), still a picture-postcard fishing town, or check in with celebrity chef Rick Stein at food paradise, Padstow (15 miles). Or revisit Arthurian legend at magical Tintagel (14.5 miles). Head out on foot on the myriad paths or cyclists might like the nearby Camel Trail, although that’s possibly not so great for the woofers.
