This spacious holiday home, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, benefits from a peaceful, countryside setting, yet is just 1 mile from the bustling village of Crackington Haven. Stride out from your front door, to discover its fabulous family-friendly beach and cosy pub. The property is full of little extras to make your stay feel special, including a gorgeous wood burner and fabulous roll-top bath. With a large, enclosed garden, there’s plenty of space for children to play and you to enjoy al fresco dining in the Cornish sunshine.

The cottage is located on the owner’s working farm, yet peace and privacy are assured. Packed with original features, including stunning exposed trusses and beams, the reverse-level property has bags of character and charm. The light and bright dining room has ample seating for everyone and has triple aspect windows looking out onto the pretty garden. The open-plan lounge/kitchen has an impressive, vaulted ceiling and is a wonderfully sociable space, where you can come together to chat about your day in front of the warming wood burner or share a bottle of wine whilst watching a film on the Smart TV. Outside, children will love playing in the mature garden, whilst you unwind on a sun lounger.

You’ll be perfectly placed to explore some of North Cornwall’s most-loved towns and villages. Just 5 miles along the coast you’ll come to Boscastle. This rugged village is idyllic, with white-washed cottages and a natural harbour. Much of the land surrounding the village is owned by the National Trust, providing endless walking opportunities. Journey further and you’ll come to Port Isaac (18 miles), one of the most quintessentially Cornish villages in the whole of Cornwall! Lovely spacious property in beautiful surroundings. Ideal for 6 adults and a baby. Well positioned for days out. Loved the local beach which was walkable, although very steep! Owners friendly and helpful.
