Gorgeous apartment enjoying an excellent central position in St Ives. The ideal accommodation for a romantic getaway, with a plethora of bars, restaurants, museums and art galleries on the doorstep.

Escape to the seaside in this chic apartment for two, in the heart of St Ives’ idyllic old fishermen’s quarter. You’ll be within 300 metres of the town’s picturesque harbour and sandy beaches, and will have a huge selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and galleries at your fingertips. The quirky apartment is full of rustic charm and has an open-plan layout which makes it feel bright and spacious. From the property, enjoy day trips to Land’s End (19 miles) and The Lizard Peninsula (16 miles).

A step leads to this quirky apartment, where you’ll find a stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, decorated in calming tones and featuring a fascinating collection of unusual accessories. Against one wall is a fabulous wood-panelled dining area with bar stools and a breakfast bar and opposite this is a magnificent ornamental fireplace. Create a tasty dinner in the kitchen area, followed by a snuggle on the sofa in front of the Smart TV. There is no outdoor space with the apartment, but with coastal paths, beaches, and cobbled streets just moments from the front door, you’ll find plenty of exciting places to stretch your legs.

Step outside your apartment and wander past the picture-perfect fishermen’s cottages and down to the wonderful harbour, where you can choose from a fantastic range of eateries, many serving freshly caught seafood. St Ives has not one but four glorious sandy beaches and is a hotspot for surfers. If you fancy riding the waves, head along to Porthmeor Beach to join one of the surf schools. Hop in the car and journey to Land’s End to witness the incredible scenery and get a photo next to the famous signpost. Alternatively, spend the day surrounded by the remote landscape of The Lizard Peninsula, where you’ll find hidden sandy coves and spectacular clifftop footpaths.

Extremely noisy underfoot from upstairs neighbours. Wooden floors etc. Poor cooking equipment. Combi oven quoted is actually just a microwave, coupled with two hobs. No oven or grill facilities. No freezer box in fridge. Location is excellent for beaches and town, but natural light is limited. This is just due to the reality of the old fisherman's Read morecottages. Location makes up for this. Apartment is very clean and shower excellent. Wife reported bed perfect for her (but too soft for me Hide

We stayed for a week at the cottage, here our impression: Positive: Very near to the harbour and the beaches, cute little cottage, two TVs and basic equipment. Negative: No possibility to air the bedroom (no working window), therefore mouldy smell, pieces from the stonewall come off, faucet in the kitchen makes loud noises when flushing the toilet,Read more not spotless clean (especially kitchen), bit unfriendly welcoming text which references to covid as a reason to basic clean (otherwise cleaning fee). Positives - great location, comfy bed and fab shower. Negatives- limited cooking facilities and lack of storage. This cottage would be ideal for people who intend to eat out every day . We enjoyed the outside seating area and appreciated the bathrobes and the short walk to the beach!
