Occupying a quiet village location only a mile from the stunning North Cornwall coastline, this luxurious property is the perfect coastal retreat. Friends and families can enjoy a wonderful reunion or special holiday together with the property sleeping ten people over five bedrooms. Located in Poughill, on the outskirts of the popular seaside town of Bude, you have the South West Coast Path on your doorstep, a selection of beaches to choose from and many shops and eateries nearby. After an exhausting day of walking, surfing and building sandcastles, head home for a relaxing soak under the stars in your private hot tub.

Exquisitely finished, this property effortlessly blends contemporary design with the occasional piece of traditional furniture or period feature. There’s an abundance of light and space throughout. At the heart of the home, the open-plan kitchen/diner is well-equipped with all the mod-cons, with views across the garden. When it comes to relaxing, you have a choice of spaces: the garden room with bi-folding doors leading outside; the cosy lounge with its wood burner; and the sunroom with vaulted ceilings, wood burner and bi-folding doors. Upstairs, there are five well-presented bedrooms, two of which are en-suites, and a family bathroom, whilst outside offers a spacious terrace with dining furniture, a large lawn, a hot tub and a games room.

Bude (1.5 miles) is popular with visitors as it has two beaches, a canal with boats to hire, stunning clifftop walks, a sea pool and a bustling town full of independent shops and eateries. You can also explore the coast in either direction with the dramatic Hartland Heritage Coast to the north and popular coastal villages such as Boscastle and Tintagel, with its King Arthur connections, to the south (both within 20 miles). You can also head inland and enjoy peaceful, rural walks amongst Devon’s Ruby Country.

Coombe Rise is a beautiful spacious house, the well kept mature gardens are lovely to wander around. The kitchen is a joy to cook in and the bedrooms and lounges are restful, most with countryside views. We made use of the hot tub as well as the table football and table tennis and went on some lovely walks. We would highly recommend Coombe Rise as Read morea retreat for a a large group. Hide

The cottage is very spacious, well decorated and perfectly maintained. All the areas are well furnished and well thought out. The addition of a large garden and hot tub were fabulous. All our contact with the owners was excellent and they were extremely helpful.

This is an outstanding property with everything you could possibly need for a week or two away with the family. The large kitchen is very well equipped and all rooms are kept very clean. The games room and hot tub were particularly enjoyed as too was the large garden for our energetic children to run around in. We all had a lovely stay. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay at coombe rise. The house was lovely, had everything we needed and we where greeted with a gorgeous hamper. I spoke to Kate a few times and she was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fabulous time at Coombe Rise! There was masses of space for the children and adults to relax both in the house and in the beautiful garden.
