Couples will find it easy to unwind and relax in this contemporary studio apartment close to the centre of the historic town, Lostwithiel. With the best of Cornwall’s coast and countryside nearby, you can spend your days exploring the South West Coast Path, surfing the waves, or walking in the lush green countryside. At the end of a busy day, you can enjoy a bite to eat in one of the town’s many eateries before returning home for a relaxing soak in your private hot tub (additional charges apply)
Clean and modern, this studio apartment has been beautifully styled to ensure you have a comfortable stay. On entering, leave your muddy boots or sandy shoes in the hall, where you can also store your surfboards. From here, enter the lounge/bedroom, where you can recline on the sofa or enjoy lazy mornings in bed. Tucked around the corner, you’ll find a good-sized kitchen that is equipped with everything you’ll need; it also has a breakfast bar for two. Completing the accommodation is a shower room. Outside, you’ll find a small garden area at the top of the staircase with dining furniture.
There are some lovely walks in and around Lostwithiel itself, such as along the River Fowey and to Restormel Castle. Further afield, Fowey (8 miles) is a delightful town with a range of independent shops/eateries, and you can catch the ferry across the estuary to charming Polruan (10 miles), or perhaps you’d prefer historic Bodmin to the north (6 miles). If you prefer to be on the coast, the area boasts a number of delightful sandy beaches and coves such as Readymoney Cove and Lantic Bay. You’ll also be well-placed to visit attractions such as the Eden Project (6 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (14.5 miles).
