Spacious comfortable cottage for families or couples, offering the perfect relaxing location on the stunning Roseland Peninsula, close to the Fal Estuary.
Immerse yourself in the peace and tranquillity of the Roseland Peninsula at this beautifully styled character cottage set in the village of Ruan Lanihorne. Sleeping five people over three bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, it’s a stunning rural retreat for a small family or group of friends yearning to get away from it all and enjoy all the highlights of the Cornish countryside. Spend your days strolling the beaches at Portloe or Portscatho, and your evenings warming your toes in front of the cottage’s flickering wood burner.
Step inside and you’ll find yourself in a lovely conservatory with plenty of sun-drenched seats – the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. Later in the day, head on through to the farmhouse-style kitchen, where you’ll find everything you need to cook up a storm for your loved ones. Alternatively, step outside to the large courtyard patio, fire-up the BBQ and dine alfresco. The garden/patio is fully enclosed, so if you have the dogs with you, they can run free while you eat. After dinner, take a stroll across the lawn and you’ll find that you have direct access down to the creek (please note that the creek area is not enclosed), or head inside to relax in front of the wood burner in the living room. When the day is done, there are three lovely bedrooms to choose from.
Blow away the cobwebs with a stroll along the beautiful beaches at Portloe (5 miles) or Portscatho (5.5 miles). Alternatively, stop to smell the flowers and soak up the coastal views at the National Trust’s Trelissick Gardens (8 miles via ferry), or head to the Eden Project (15 miles) to explore the massive biomes and trek through the world’s largest indoor rainforest.
