Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of St Ives, feel at home in your cosy haven amidst the hustle and bustle of this beautiful Cornish town. This delightful reverse-level property is styled with a nautical theme throughout, blending perfectly with sea views that can be enjoyed from the terrace balcony during an al fresco dinner. Full of charm and character, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is located in the loft area, with exposed wooden beams and light streaming in through the skylights. Cook up delicious meals in the kitchen to enjoy on the terrace as the sun sets, before settling down on the comfy sofas to a film by the glowing wood burner. Decorated with rustic wooden furniture and soft colours, the double bedrooms – one on the ground floor and the other four steps up – are perfectly appointed for a restful night after a day in the sea breeze. The integral garage is the perfect space to store boards and wetsuits after a morning surf.

Wander through the cobbled streets of St Ives and grab a pasty while you look out across the thriving harbour. There are plenty of independent shops and restaurants to explore, as well as The Tate and The Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden. Spend the day at a nearby beach, with plenty to choose from, or outdoor enthusiasts can embark on the rugged South West Coast Path. Further south lies Land’s End and the Minack Theatre, which hosts a whole programme of shows through the spring and summer.

Perfect location without having to drive in the narrow streets of St Ives. Lovely furnished property with everything you need provided and parking at property as a bonus. Great host.

We were very fortunate to have wonderfully sunny and warm weather. Location is brilliant for the town and train and bus stations. A bit tricky driving up to the property and tricky getting the car in and out of the garage, which is an absolute bonus for St Ives, but we managed it. Welcome pack was great and very much appreciated. Nice, light and aiRead morery upstairs in the living/dining/kitchen area but the bedrooms were small and lacked light. A bit of TLC needed in places. For the money we paid we felt this property was poor value with pokey bedrooms and dirty and inadequate equipment. It is in a good location.

Anchor Loft is possibly unique in layout - huge living/eating/cooking area up (steep) stairs, two bathrooms/bedrooms below. The secure internal parking was a real attraction for us with this property, and was an absolute bonus - you are pretty much in the centre of things, but with no stressful drive or worries about finding a space. The upstairs was a winner too - bright, with plenty of space - and the views! Didn't tire of looking out to the sea all week - the deck arRead moreea was great too. Great location. Very well equipped. Owner very helpful, and welcome pack well received. Access to garage would maybe be a challenge for a larger car - we had to be very careful in our Honda Jazz. Would have been useful to have a few more instructions. Lovely place, fantastic location, garage for car and owner incredibly helpful when I was hopelessly lost getting there . Maybe a stairlift for our 14 year old dog but thats a big ask.

We spent half term there as a family of four. Very central location, with a garage, close to all the amenaties. It was clean and comfortable. Originally from Cornwall it was also a good place to get out and about to catch up with family and friends. Would highly recommend.

Great accommodation in central location with superb lounge/kitchen. Very well equipped with two bathrooms and a large garage. Only a short walk to the town centre, Porthminster beach, bus and rail stations.

Great location both both for the town and touring. Guy was a very responsive and helpful host and the welcome goodies were most welcome! We chose Anchor Loft as it has secure garage parking (any parking in St Ives is a must!) and although nerves of steel are required to negotiate the slipway and garage initially, with a large car, we did manage to Read moreget the Range Rover safely in and by the end of the week it was much easier. Lovely stay here, the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Central location and great access with a pram. Nice to have an outside area too and the upstairs was very nice. Particularly liked the quirky details. Parking a massive bonus too!

Anchor Loft is stunning, a delight to stay in, amazing location and the garage is an amazing bonus, we actually didn't use the car all week, but we could unpack and packbup the night before a early departure the next day. Owner was fabulous too and the little welcome pack was a lovely treat on arrival.

A great, central position with its own parking in garage. Would be tight for a large car. Handy for beaches/eateries /pubs/shops. Bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with living space above. Well stocked with utensils/crockery etc. small veranda with sea glimpses. Building works in adjoining building, but wouldnt disturb if out for day.
