Five guests are welcome at this beautiful and characterful cottage on the cusp of the stunning village of Mousehole. It’s well-equipped and charming, with a stunning rooftop garden to admire the views across to the sea. Just a short stroll takes you to the centre of the village where you can find a good mix of shops, cafes and restaurants.
This pretty tucked away cottage is brimming with character and tradition, though has all the modern conveniences you’ll need for your stay. An open-plan lounge/diner is a cosy spot for all the family to enjoy some time unwinding or planning the days ahead. The kitchen has a Rangemaster oven for when you choose to cook and stay in. Each of the bedrooms have deep windowsills and exposed beams while some have views across to the sea. Outside is a fantastic private courtyard with seating, and steps which lead up to some rooftop decking for you to sit back, dine alfresco, enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple and watch the sunset on the horizon.
Mousehole is a traditional fishing village with a picturesque harbour. There are plenty of boat and fishing trip available from here. The South West Coast Path also runs right through Mousehole and is great for walkers of all abilities. You’ll be less than 8 miles from Porthcurno Beach, a stunning oasis of natural beauty and the perfect place to spend a day by the sea. Head to Britain’s most south-westerly point, the famous Land’s End (11 miles) or visit the incredible Minack Theatre (9 miles).
