Located in an ideal spot for dipping into both Devon and Cornwall. The wild moorlands, deep valleys and rare wildlife of Dartmoor are only 12 miles away. Pop into the ancient town of Launceston to wander the narrow streets and see remains of the defensive wall that once circled the town. Jamaica Inn, Cornwall's most famous smugglers' Inn, is 15 miles from the property, high up on wild and beautiful Bodmin Moor. Visit this history-rich inn to understand the inspiration behind the world-famous tale of smugglers, rogues and pirates by Daphne du Maurier.

A beautiful barn conversion in a beautiful setting - we couldn't have picked better accommodation for our visit to Cornwall to celebrate a milestone birthday! We really enjoyed our stay at highland barn, the barn was beautiful with plenty of space for the 7 of us. The owners were on hand for any queries we had. We will definitely be back.

We have rented cottages in Cornwall for over 20 years and would rate Highland Barn at Goodmansleigh Farm as outstanding. The barn is beautifully converted and equipped and furnished to an excellent standard. This amazing property with its beautiful setting in the countryside just ticks all the boxes. Beautifully decorated and the large spacious rooms help with the tranquil feel. The Barn was exceptionally clean and very well equipped with everything you need for your stay , from kitchen equipment and crockery , bed linen and towels to DVDs , books and Read moregames . dont norm give ten out of ten as very few things are perfect but this is one of the few. well done.as its a working farm i would just like to say its the tidy and clean farm i have ever seen
