This charming property sleeps four guests and makes a fantastic base for exploring all that North Cornwall has to offer; it's close to some great local attractions and less than 10 miles from the beautiful coast. Whether you fancy a lazy day at the beach or hopping on your bike and meandering through the scenic countryside, you'll find plenty to keep everyone happy in this idyllic corner of the UK.

The semi-detached cottage oozes character and charm, thanks to original features such as the exposed beams. A cosy welcome awaits in the lounge area, where you'll discover comfy sofas (new for 2023) to sink into and a wood burner for chillier evenings. The property embraces contemporary country style, with light and fresh interiors throughout. The open-plan living makes it a great cottage for socialising and the outdoor patio, accessed via a couple of steps, is a real sun trap and is a lovely spot to relax with a good book and a glass of wine.

Spend the day at the beach at Polzeath (9 miles away), where you'll find a laid-back vibe and a beautiful expanse of sand. It's a popular surfing hotspot and the perfect place to learn. Step back in time on the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway, which chugs through the picturesque surrounding countryside on a 13-mile round trip. Why not hire bikes and head along the Camel Trail? The 18-mile route is mostly flat and starts in Wadebridge, just 4.5 miles from the property. Pencarrow House and Garden (2 miles away) makes a lovely day out. A fabulous cosy cottage in a lovely little village. Coming home to the stove after exploring the North coast was most welcome. An extremely welcoming Pub opposite was an advantage.
