Start your day with long walks and hours of fetch within the fields and woodland surrounding this charming property, as well as scaling the cliffs of the South West Coast Path, to make a holiday to remember for you and your four-legged friend. Familiar touches of homely decor and country-living furnishings create a tranquil atmosphere, ready to welcome you on your return. So sit back, relax and retreat to this snug, little haven, perfectly situated to explore the fantastic Cornish countryside and coast.

Great views of the countryside can be found through each window, so you are never far from the fresh air or the sounds of the woodland wildlife. The simple yet effective neutral pallet of cream and pale coral creates a light and airy open-plan living space, and is complimented by the warm wooden floors, while splashes of colour dotted throughout add a little flair. Cook a romantic meal for two, then dine alfresco with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the pastures. Retreat indoors to cuddle on the sofa in front of the wood burner as your happy hound snoozes in pole position, dreaming of tomorrows antics.

Discover the beaches of Crackington Haven (6 miles) and Widemouth Bay (4.5 miles). There are wonderful walks at Morwenstow (14.5 miles), whether out for a short stroll or to just enjoy the views. Bude (8 miles) is ideal for surfing, shopping and perusing local eateries. For parkland walks try Dunsland (14 miles) and for remote moorland head to Bodmin Moor (28 miles). Lydford Gorge (26 miles), the deepest river gorge in the South West, has a 30m high waterfall and is a great place for walkies.

The cottage is in a peaceful countryside location but close enough to all the main attractions on the North Cornwall coast. Bude is 15 minutes away and Padstow only about 30. The cottage was very clean and well equipped for a 6 night break. We can't wait to book again.

Everything you could want in the cottage and very comfortable, you will have to drive everywhere as there is nothing in walking distance. The internet doesn't work in the cottage, but does outside, this wasn't a big problem for us. If you want rural and quiet this is the place for you.
