At the heart of the house is its lounge/kitchen/diner, thoughtfully separated by a central wood burner to keep the space warm and cosy. With eclectic artwork and interesting furnishings, this room exudes character. It’s also flooded with natural light thanks to large windows and bi-fold doors leading out into the enclosed garden. Similarly light and bright is the conservatory dining room, a marvellous space that’s perfect for sitting down to celebratory meals. Find four bedrooms right here on the ground floor, just along the hallway. You’ll find two made-up as doubles with patio doors leading out into the garden and two final twin bedrooms.
Follow the former smugglers’ route along to the undisturbed sandy beach just 1 mile away, the perfect spot for days on the sand. From here you can take trips along the renowned South West Coastal Path, perhaps venturing along to the handsome Lantic Bay (5 miles). Head to Poluran where you can travel by ferry over to Fowey (5.5 miles), a charming estuary village with restaurants and shops to peruse, or drive to the local town of Par and spend time at the ever-popular Eden Project attraction (20 miles).
