This beautiful property is set in the heart of the countryside, just 8 miles from the town of Liskeard. Everything was perfect, except the weather ! It enabled us to get around a part of Cornwall that we were less familiar with. Cottage was very well presented to a high level of cleanliness and comfort. Plenty of room for four.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable converted barn. The setting is so lovely surrounded by countryside with only the animals for neighbours. The weather was not good , however, we found plenty to do and places to explore. We would love to return.

My husband and I booked the cottage for ourselves and my brother and nephew who travelled from Malaysia and Australia for 6 nights. Almost didn't make the trip due to a medical emergency but thankfully I was discharged on the day of our travel and we reached the cottage at 1am! Owner had left milk,tea bags and biscuits. Lovely, clean and spacious cottage, a real home from home with everything you could possibly need. This cottage is lovely and clean, the king size bed upstairs was really comfy, we had no problem sleeping, in fact best nights sleep we have ever had. We had no problem using the shower, there was comments about head room in it but we did not find it an issue. Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk and biscuits made it even more welcoming. Highly recommended this property for a sightseeing holiday in Cornwall. Very peaceful location with birds and farm animals all around which we love. Beds comfy and it was nice to have a king size in the main bedroom. Good configuration of the living space, plenty of space to spread out (we are family of 4). Fabulous cottage, a real home from home. Old Oak Barn has everything you could possibly need for a peaceful relaxing holiday. It's also in prime position for visiting both Cornwall and Devon.
