Light pours into Waterside Cottage through generous windows and patio doors, and the decked balcony is blissful for al fresco dining or just relaxing to mull over the day's adventures. Seaside designs meld harmoniously with comforting fabrics to energise and soothe. There's an easiness and joy to Waterside Cottage that simply makes you smile. Whether by road, rail, bike, boat or foot, the whole of Cornwall is yours to discover. Drive to the enlightening Eden Project (6 miles), take the train from Par to Newquay's wild surfing paradise (1 hour), cycle to lovely Looe (9 miles), ride the waves in Polperro (5.5 miles) or just walk with a picnic to the glorious golden sands of Lantic Bay (1.5 miles). Take a ferry across the estuary to explore the lanes of Fowey; from little craft shops, museums and galleries to much-loved pubs and eateries.

  • Access to the property is down 47 very steep slate steps
  • Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village.
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Waterside was a great Location with perfect views of the harbour and estuary. The other bonus being having some outdoor space where you can have your meals and watch the Boats go by. Really enjoyed the open plan living area. It was nice and bright and airy. Would love to come back and highly recommend.

Waterside is a unique holiday stay in a wonderful location. It feels like a home from home with lovely touches and personal interior additions. The view is to die for and there is lots to see and do or just chill.

Lovey cottage with everything we needed and more besides. Very well presented. far too many steps but they were well worth it. The view and the peaceful feel of the location is perfect.

Beautiful place and stunning view to sit on the balcony to enjoy. Very clean and comfortable. Some quite steep stairs to and from the property. Very handy having use of a frap to tie a boat up at. Much enjoyed our stay here and watched a firework display from our balcony on our last evening. Thank you.

The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. Very comfortable, the balcony is just perfect to sit and enjoy the amazing view. Maybe a note somewhere to say that the freezer is in the outside unit. Really is a perfect place to relax and enjoy quiet and for cooking we had everything we needed.

Lovely cottage with great views and nice outdoor seating area. The steps up and down are quite steep but fine if you are fit and healthy. The cottage is very comfortable, lovely and clean and well equipped.

Cottage very comfortable and views to die for, however you have to be fit and able to get to the cottage. Steps very steep and not easy in places without a handrail, especially with luggage, shopping and small children.

The upstairs had great river views and lots of natural light. The sofas were comfy, the TV fine and the kitchen convenient and well equipped. The outside balcony was disappointing as it's North facing and didn't catch the sun at all in October. Downstairs, the bedrooms were gloomy and shower rooms tiny. On arrival, the downstairs felt quite damp anRead mored chilly and the heating wasn't working- virtually no instructions in the info folder and we wasted lots of time Sunday morning trying to get help. The cottage has the most amazing view from the upstairs living area . The kitchen was well equipped with really good quality equipment and crockery etc the bedrooms are quite dark but the beds are comfortable. Shower rooms very small but good quality shower .
