A gorgeous property with incredible views for four to stay and enjoy a peaceful holiday by the sea. It's near the base of the town with views across the estuary of sparkling water, boats, cottages and meadows on the northern bank. The garden creates a suntrap and has views of the river, a stunning setting for a BBQ at the end of a busy week exploring the stunning Kernow coast.

As you might expect, Cobalt Cottage has a nautical theme with colourful touches throughout. A farmhouse-style table is set beneath a large window that allows light to flood into the living room. Gather together here for a light lunch before wandering down the road to see the harbour or the ruins of Polruan Castle that's only a few hundred feet from the door. Wonderful views and a neutral colour palette has created a peaceful atmosphere suitable for rest and relaxation.

Ferries run across the estuary so you can travel over to explore Fowey, while less than 2 miles from this property you'll find the National Trust-owned Lantic Bay with a stunning sandy beach. When you're ready for a day trip, travel 16 miles to see exotic plants at the Eden Project, wander the streets of busy town St Austell (18 miles) or drive 19 miles to discover The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

We had a fantastic stay in a very special place. My favourite attention to detail was the binoculars placed by the upstairs window. Thank you

Lovely cottage in a great location, just a few yards from the dock, bakery, shop and the pubs :) Fantastic walking in the area and the ferry to Fowey is frequent and runs until late.

This cottage is very well situated in Polruan, close to the harbour and the ferry to Fowey. The cottage is well equipped and furnished to a high start and ideal for a family of four. There is a small garden area which is ideal for sitting in at the end of a busy day soaking up the Sun and the sounds of Polruan. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage imRead moremensely. We will definitely revisit at some point in the future. Hide

Lovely Cottage nice inside and really close to harbour but not a good location of you have mobility issues as car park is up top of a massive steep hill , you are able to drive down to unload and pick up, we were lucky it was quiet but I would definitely not want to do in height of season, the garden is up 2 flights of really steep steps and was veRead morery mossy and slippery so we didn't even attempt to use Hide
