Situated at the end of the bustling Esplanade in Fowey, Admirals View benefits from spectacular 180-degree vistas of the river Fowey and out to sea. Found within the sought after building of St Catherine's Court, this ground floor apartment is an idyllic place to stay. If you're sleeping in the master bedroom, you can look forward to refreshing mornings on the balcony with a pot of tea, watching the sun rise over the glistening river.

Spread over two floors, the living areas are spacious and open-plan, decorated in neutral hues. Comfortable chairs and sofas in the lounge offer a place to unwind after a busy day of exploring, while the conservatory area is a great spot to enjoy a traditional Cornish cream tea with the coast as a picturesque backdrop.

Enjoy a gentle stroll along the scenic Esplanade for half a mile to the town quay where you'll discover a selection of friendly pubs and restaurants. If you fancy a dip in the sea, the sandy beach and rock pools of Readymoney Cove are under a miles walk in the opposite direction. If you're seeking a full day out, head to The Eden Project (6 miles away), where you can explore the world's largest indoor rainforest or the mysterious Bodmin Moor (23 miles) which offers miles upon miles of breathtaking footpaths to navigate.

The property which was newly painted outside, was on the ground floor, which was a bonus! It was perfect; warm, comfortable well equipped. There were 3 areas to sit around a table and the views from the living area and the bedroom's sizeable balcony were phenomenal, one could sit all day and watch life on the water. Admirals Reach is a lovely place to stay. As it has not been updated recently it has charm and character and feels very comfortable and homely. The best thing that Admirals View has to offer is the fantastic view from the front of the house. Damp and mold in most rooms. bunk beds desperately need new mattresses daughters felt the springs digging into them. As mentioned by other reviewers the location, the views, the balcony, the fact that there is a parking space and the comfortable bed make this a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely return. However, there were only two of us and although there is lots of space for 2 it would be cramped for 7 people. (Fine for 4-5). The best thing about this property is the view from the balcony and large downstairs window. Another plus is the parking space opposite the flat. The main bedroom is very good and has a very comfortable large bed. The property could do with some updating ,mainly the bathroom. The position is good for walking into Fowey and also Readymoney cove.

Location amazing , near to the beach and a lovely 10 min walk to main village. Apartment fine for a young family of 4 but not for 6-7 as advertised as back rooms small and dark. It's a little basic but generally clean. A great place to rest your heads, and in fine weather breakfast on the balcony is a must. As a family of 4 we would rebook.

Superb views even in a rainy mid-winter. That's its main plus point. Fairly spacious (apart from a small separate toilet and 3rd bedroom) and I would'nt recommend for 7 due to only having one bathroom. Comfortable although some furniture a little dated. But clean and reasonably well equipped, although couldn't get to grips with oven on the cooker -Read more everything a bit overcooked when following guidelines. Great location,poor quality of decor and furnishings;desperately needs a new bathroom,very depressing dark lounge ,poor quality light fittings,not good value for money compared to other properties at Catherines Court.Comfortable and clean with great views is best we can give it!!

We had a great week at Admirals View, the view over the estuary from the property is fantastic, the cottage contained everything we needed and we would definitely recommend and return in the future.
