Sitting pretty 2 miles northwest of Saltash is The Stables Smallacombe. Surrounded by picturesque villages, glorious beaches and fantastic golf courses, the property itself is spacious yet cosy, contemporary yet warm. This home is tastefully modern whilst retaining all of its traditional Cornish charm.

The welcoming character of the property hits you as soon as you step foot inside. Warm furnishings and exposed beams beautifully compliment the contemporary fittings and layout. The hub of The Stables Smallacombe is the lounge/kitchen/dining area. Complete with wood burner and inviting sofas, this is the perfect area to kick back and relax in after a long day. The well-equipped kitchen is lovely and light, the perfect setting for cooking up a feast. Light floods into the fresh bedrooms where you will find it easy to switch off as they offer a home away from home feel. Spark up the BBQ on balmy summer evenings for a sizzling feast.

Maritime city, Plymouth, is 8 miles from The Stables Smallacombe. Here you can indulge in shopping, explore the vibrant Hoe and browse the Barbican. With many golf resorts within a 12-mile radius, the property is a great home for anyone with a keen interest in the sport. Looe is 15 miles away and this historic, local port is a must visit for its beautiful beaches and fascinating local museum. To capture a different view of the southern Cornish coastline, hop on a boat trip and prepare to be stunned!

We had a great long weekend at the Stables, the accommodation is furnished to a high standard with comfortable beds a well equipped kitchen and cosy sofas. The Log burner was lovely with plenty of Logs supplied which is great for the Autumn weather, there was plenty of parking for 2 cars and the hosts were very welcoming. The Stables is in a rural Read morelocation but so close for local pubs and restaurants and great walks and we took the train into Plymouth would definitely recommend Hide

Everything you might need in the cottage. Loved the quiet, hidden away location . Large dining / lounge area with comfy seating. Local pub less than quarter mile away. Beds very comfortable. Easy to park next to cottage.

Beautiful property tucked away from town but with easy access to the main roads for access to both Devon and Cornwall. Very friendly owners who live on site. Would highly recommend.

This was our second visit to The Stables at Smallacombe which is a remote but delightful single storey cottage, a 10 minute walk from the village of Botus Fleming. The 2 bedroomed cottage is comfortable and well equipped and is hosted by David & Jane. The Stables is a beautiful cottage and very comfortable. It's cosy while still being spacious. I slept extremely well in the lovely comfy bed. The kitchen area is very good with plenty of cupboards and workspace. The setting is perfect and it's lovely to hear so much birdsong and be surrounded by trees and flowers. We had a fantastic stay at the stables, the cottage was immaculately clean, the kitchen was fully equipped with absolutely everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and David couldn't have been more helpful. The stables is in a brilliant location to explore both Devon and Cornwall, in a beautifully peaceful setting.

The Stables at Smallcombe is in a very calm & quiet location although less than 10 minutes from the Tamar toll bridge crossing on the edge of Plymouth. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, finished to a high standard and very clean. The only downside is that there is almost no outdoor space, the table and chairs literally by the front door,Read more there is no garden. The Stables at Smallacombe was an excellent choice of accommodation. It is tastefully furnished and decorated with all the equipment you need. David and Jane were welcoming and friendly hosts and any information we needed was readily forthcoming.
