Enjoy a taste of rural life at this pretty farm cottage in North Cornwall, where visitors can try out a host of activities including feeding the lambs, riding ponies, and meeting the resident pigs and alpacas. Excellent leisure facilities are shared with five other properties and include a well-equipped games barn, tennis courts, and the opportunity to try coarse fishing. Many day trips are on offer locally, with Boscastle, Bude, and Tintagel all situated within 12 miles of the farm.
Part of a 16th century farm building, Mayberry Cottage is a former milking parlour which has been given a thoughtful update whilst retaining many of its original features such as beamed ceilings and traditional Cornish stonework. The private patio is a wonderfully relaxing place to relax outdoors, whilst the large shared garden is a fantastic space for children to play, as is the games barn with its selection of toys and space to play badminton, basketball, and table football.
Situated 8 miles inland from Cornwall's Atlantic coast, visitors staying at Mayberry Cottage can enjoy the quiet rural surroundings whilst being within easy reach of some the region's best-loved coastal towns and villages. For leisurely days at the beach, head some 12 miles south to Trebarwith Strand or north to Bude, both of which are popular spots with families and surfers alike. Or perhaps spend a day in the historic village of Boscastle located 9 miles from the property, before heading a further 4 miles down the coast to mystical Tintagel.
