The south-west tip of Cornwall is a magical place, and this sweet apartment is a little gem in its treasure chest. Marazion has a superb beach, friendly pubs and the shining jewel of St Michael's Mount within a half-mile walk, at low tide. Longrock Beach (1.5 miles) is family-safe and sandy, Prussia and Pisky Coves (4 miles) are secluded and romantic, and Perranuthoe Beach (3 miles) is a surfers' paradise, with splendid views of the Mount. Explore the winding streets of Penzance (4 miles), with its museums and galleries and quirky independent shops, pubs and eateries.

One of two apartments in the building, climb the stairs from the hall to the front door. The apartment's interior is a beautiful blend of period chic, Art Deco style and retro flourishes, with a breezy, nautical twist. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a perfect space for romantic couples to feel at home. Sunsets and subtle lighting bring the space aglow in the evening, whilst during the day you're blessed with natural light and lovely vistas of Marazion and beyond. After an amorous meal of local seafood, wander the village's winding lanes and unwind on the beach before retiring to your glorious king-size four-poster bed, in your charming bedroom.

Newlyn (6 miles) is overflowing with creativity, character and charisma, and home to one of Britain's largest fishing fleets. Discover the marvels of Mousehole (8 miles), with its quirky pubs, craft shops, galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Spend a dramatic night on the cliffs at The Minack Theatre (13.5 miles), and share special moments at Land's End (14 miles). The tin mines perched on the rocks at Botallack (12 miles) are unforgettable.

The view sells this Petra 2, south facing gets the sun all day. Easy walking distance from shops, cafe, pubs St Michaels Mount etc. Hourly bus stops outside to Penzance & Falmouth. Hard coastal path into Penzance takes under the hour to walk. Main supermarkets just over 1 mile away. Surprisingly the road is quite busy, hence traffic noise if you arRead moree not used to it. A tumble dryer would be an asset to dry towels/bedding after washing on a two week holiday. Parking outside, can be an issue. Hide

The apartment is stunning, clean and well stocked. The bed was so comfy and spacious bedroom with plenty storage space. The kitchen is home from home equipped and the views from the living room are stunning. Such a relaxing holiday and plenty to do around you.

A very nice apartment but unfortunately on the main road through Marazion which was busy and noisy due to bus stop right outside apartment. Also noise from pub opposite.

The property has of course a fabulous location with the bonus of parking but perhaps relies upon this too much and then other touches get forgotten that could elevate its quality. Feeling of the minimum is done on the property to get maximum return.

The views from the front room are amazing. We sat there most evenings just watching the tides changing. In the mornings we could see the line of people walking over to St Michael's Mount or playing on the beach. There is no outside seating area attached to the property but there are benches just down the lane that overlook the sea

Our second stay at this spacious property as we loved it so much last year. The views from the bay window over Mounts Bay are magnificent and always changing as the tide comes in and out.
