A lovingly-converted stone barn, it's handy for visiting popular seaside villages and inspiring coastal walking routes on the South Cornish coast, and on Bodmin Moor to the north there is more rugged walking country plus outdoor activities including water sports and fishing.
The barn is attached to the owners' property and has an enclosed garden for sunny lunches or balmy summer evenings. You'll love the beautiful texture of the stone buildings, and inside, original features like stone-flagged flooring and exposed beams throughout. Overall, there's cheerful comfort with homely touches. The ‘wow factor' comes from the pool and hot tub, just yards away. When you've swum enough and soothed tired limbs in the hot tub, relax by the wood burner in the cosy lounge. Due to the current situation the swimming pool will only be available on a bookable time slot basis. We regret that for safety reasons the hot tub may not be available. The seaside town of Looe is just 8 miles to the south. There's a sandy beach, and in town, why not wander past fishing boats at the quay, try jigging for crabs, or stock up on local produce from the deli. For a nearby day trip, an 18-mile drive past sweeping Whitsand Bay to Kingsand and Cawsand, picturesque twin villages on Rame peninsular, is a must. The South West Coast Path or Bodmin Moor have excellent walks within 6 miles.
