The enchanting village of Port Isaac perfectly encapsulates the unhurried Cornish lifestyle. Its position on the South West Coast Path makes it one of the area's most popular days out, and it's only 7 miles away. The cottage also provides the opportunity to enjoy many activities in the area – swimming and watersports 7 miles away on the coast, or walking and cycling on Bodmin Moor, just a couple of miles away. Learn about Cornwall's famous history, including the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel Castle (8 miles away) and the coastline's fascinating mining heritage.

We spent a very happy and comfortable ten days at this beautiful property. It was immaculate throughout and we loved the views. We would love to visit again in future.

Lovely, spacious cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Everything we needed was provided. Spotlessly clean. Great location to explore nearby beaches and towns. This is our 3rd time in Advent Cottage and it has never disappointed. Very quiet, private location which is very relaxing. Its central location makes it easy to travel around to busier areas and return to peace and quiet. The cottage is very comfortable and welcoming. Hope to go back.

Overall, I would say the property was pleasant, but nothing that made us really say wow. The property is listed as increased accessibility, which it mostly is, apart from the couple of stone steps to get up to the pathway from the drive way. The sofas are also very soft and low sitting, which were comfortable, but very difficult for my elderly granRead moredparents to be able to get up from. As there are no cushions on the sofas it also made it awkward for them to sit easily on them. Hide

Advent Cottage is situated in a beautiful position, close to the moors and the coast. It is well appointed, very comfortable and was very well prepared for our arrival. We would definitely come again.
