This attractive quirky cottage, less than a mile from Padstow, sits in an elevated position, allowing the lucky guests to enjoy far-reaching views of the stunning Cornish countryside. In this rural location, you will appreciate the tranquillity, helping you to relax into your holiday and switch off from life back home.

The interior of this property manages to feel cosy, yet spacious. The cute staircase up to the twin room, the traditional wood burner and the wooden floorboards feel very much like a cottage, but the high ceiling and white-washed beams and the contemporary kitchen and bathroom create a light, open and airy feel. One of the most unique features within this property is the gorgeous, exposed stone-wall in the lounge, a subtle reminder of the natural beauty of the Cornish landscape awaiting you outside.

Padstow (2 miles), is a typical Cornish fishing town complete with picturesque harbour and winding streets, known more recently as a food lover's delight, thanks to its most famous resident, Rick Stein. However, if you'd prefer something less bustling, you are ideally situated to explore plenty of stunning locations along the North Cornwall coast. Enjoy glorious views from Bedruthan Steps (9 miles), Polzeath beach (15 miles) with its golden sand and clear blue sea, and Port Isaac (15 miles), a village full of character and the home of TV's Doc Martin. For those keen to stretch their legs and find more unspoilt spots, why not walk the South West Coast Path and make the most of the remarkable coastline.

A cosy cottage , well equipped , close to beaches, restaurants and a reasonable drive to historical houses. We did walk through to Padstow across muddy fields as the main road doesnt have pavements. The second bedroom has steep stairs and limited headroom as described but is probably better suited to children or teenagers rather than a second adultRead more couple. We loved Constantine Bay in particular and will return to this part of Cornwall for which the cottage is well situated. Hide

Lovely comfortable cottage down a quiet lane. A real escape from it all. It quite close to I guess the owners house, but we never heard or saw them. The property itself suited our needs (2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 dog) but the second bedroom is in the loft, so be warned if you are 4 adults. The cottage has everything you need (apart from decent WiFRead morei) and even a barbecue, that we used once. Theres a private patio area with seating and a grassed area if you wanted to lie out. We had a really enjoyable stay with our dog at Linhay. The cottage is tucked away down a lane and has its own private, beautiful garden full of flowers. Very peaceful to sit out after a busy day. We would definitely book again in the future.

Lovely, cosy cottage in a really great location - very quiet and stunning scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and would definitely book again. We were pleased to able to take our dog, and the enclosed, private garden would be nice to sit in in the summer. The cottage had everything we needed, lots of hot water and a powerful shower.

Lovely well equipped cottage in beautiful garden setting. Upstairs bedroom is for small people only but the beds were very comfortable. Fabulous shower! Would happily stay again, so glad we could take the dog as well.

Nice location, Cottage needs a good clean though. Lots of cobwebs on our visit, dirty windows that hadnt been cleaned for a long time, rubbish left from the previous holiday makers, Felt like we needed to clean before we used anything, just not a high standard and not a great first impression for us. could be way better but not a bad location so itRead more sort of made up for it Hide

Best appointed cottage we ever had. Unfortunatelly, the announced workings in the neighbourhood reveilled much louder than announced, so that we could not use the big terrace at all. The owner apologized and even gratulated to our anniversary with a bottle of Champagne, but as the cottage could not be used as expected, further guests should be infoRead morermed and prize should be reduced. The terrace and garden is big and inviting and part of the costs, but can not be enjoyed due to heavy noice. Hide
