Nestled within 267 acres of pasture land, this former livestock barn enjoys picturesque views over rolling meadows and the wild and beautiful north coast of Cornwall. Perfect for a large family get-together, Cory Farm Stanbury Cottage is part of a complex of five barn renovations that also benefits from a fantastic selection of leisure activities on-site.

After a day of exploring, the contemporary interiors of the cottage offer a welcome place to return to. Warm your toes in front of the glowing wood burner, pop a roast in the oven and sink into one of the cosy sofas for a family film night. Traditional features such as exposed beams and farmyard paraphernalia add a cosy ambience to the open-plan layout. If the kids have some extra energy to burn, the indoor play barn offers all manner of obstacles to climb and bounce off before bed.

You're never far from the sea here; within 1 mile you can take a stroll from the farm to a secluded beach where children will be delighted with the rock pools. The surrounding Marsland Valley is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and boasts a plethora of flora and fauna for keen nature aficionados, while those seeking a thrilling day out have the options of

We found it a nice spacious property ideal for a big family. Enjoyed seeing the cows and the little ones. Enjoyed the peace and quiet, after living with noisy traffic. The play barn was good and enjoyed by the men and children

If you have young ones then you have to be very quiet as the main area is up stairs and noisy for those sleeping below. Be prepared to be waken early as it is a working Farm

Lovely location. Play barn perfect for small children. Property has shared garden not very private and can be an issue if you take a dog as gate to farm yard was left open on occasion. Although it sleeps 8. Living space is limited. Wooden floors make it very noisy for bedrooms on floor below. This was a problem as we had small children going to bedRead more early. Hide

Great location if you like scenic coves and beaches, a little drive takes you to Duckpool beach. Bude great for supplies and days out, wayside Chinese takeaway in Kilkhampton is a good standard, Bush Inn likewise. The Play Barn really made the holiday for us all, the kids were happy to play there all day long, just as well as it rained solidly all Read moreweek. Stanbury Cottage itself felt a bit neglected but we would certainly return if we have small kids in tow. Hide

A really great holiday at a lovely traditional dairy farm. A lovely apartment with lots of modern equipment. Perfect for wheelchair users, with real thought gone into the accessibility needs.

Cottage was beautiful and all that you could wish for. The barn gave an extra bonus, with the kids been able to play in when the weather wasnt kind, also the secure garden, enabled our dog to spend long periods of time outside. Altogether a lovely time was had by the family, with the only drawback been the remote location in relation to amenities eRead morelsewhere, but we accept that is not an issue that could be changed. We had a very pleasant stay and found the barn comfortable and spacious. It really is in the middle of nowhere but that wasn't a problem for us. The Bush Inn is a great pub, fab views and good food with just a 5 minute drive. Its about 25 minutes from lovely Bude and all its ammenities. The accessible bathroom is very good if you have someone with Read moreyou with mobility issues. Really good for two families to stay together or one big one of course, easy parking and great to see the working farm. Hide

Great location if you like it away from hustle and bustle. Bit of a squeeze for 8 adults but has good facilities for children. On a working farm so you feel part of the action. Milking starts early! Kids would love it.

The cottage was easy to find with the directions and was perfect for our family of 4 generations with my 3 year old granddaughter and 98 year old mother in law. The access was great for my mother in law with her walker including the bedroom and wet room on the ground floor and my granddaughter loved the swing and play barn. A great holiday cottage, spacious, clean and cosy. Amazing play equipment for the children. A wonderful farm holiday complete with fresh eggs from the chicken, calves, and a lovely farm cat. A bit of a trek from Bude but would definitely recomment for families.
