Property code: 41427

This gorgeous property, situated just 2.5 miles from beautiful Sennen Cove, is the perfect hideaway for four. Sleeping you in two peaceful bedrooms, this reverse-level barn conversion is an opportunity to take in the stunning South Cornwall coast. Head off on a walk along the coast path from Sennen Beach (2 miles) to Land’s End (3 miles) and take in the superb views and spot wildlife from mainland England’s most westerly point.

The reverse-level style of this property ensures that you get fantastic far-reaching views from the open-plan living area. Neutral decor, large windows and high beamed ceilings make it a bright and airy space to enjoy in the day, but draw the curtains and light the wood burner-effect gas fire in the evening and it becomes a cosy haven to snuggle up in on the sofas. The huge kitchen area makes cooking meals a breeze – stylish blues and shining worktops offer a contemporary twist among traditional cabinetry. The dining table offers wonderful views through the doors to the balcony, but you should make the most of the garden and dine alfresco on the patio when it’s sunny. Downstairs, snuggle between the sheets in the king-size bedroom after an indulgent soak in the free-standing bath in the spa-like en-suite. And in the morning, take your morning coffee to your own sunroom. The pretty twin room has a single and a small double bed with another sleek en-suite bathroom. When you return from the beach, hose down the dog in the pet shower in the garden before letting them and the children run around on the terrace.

Make sure you head out to St Michael’s Mount (11.5 miles) to explore for the day. Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens (10 miles) are also well worth a wander around, as is Chysauster Ancient Village (12 miles) if you have little historians among you. Beaches like Porthcurno, Long Rock and Mousehole are all within 10 miles and are ideal for walks, sandcastle-making and sunbathing.

  • 2 bedrooms - 1 king-size, 1 with 4ft double and single (can accommodate three children on request) - please note the small double not suitable for 2 adults.
  • 2 bathrooms - 2 en suites with bath, separate shower and WC
  • Electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave
  • Utility has washing machine and dryer
  • Welcome pack provided
  • High chair and travel cot available
  • Smart TV in lounge and bedrooms
  • Enclosed garden with generous lawn, outdoor seating and BBQ, covered storage for bikes, canoes or boots
  • Owner accepts one dog but would consider enquiries for two dogs
  • Driveway parking for two cars
  • Pub, shop and 2.5 miles, beach 1.5 miles
  • Arrival: 15:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you in Sennen. Your house was fully equipped, luxurious and comfortable. I felt immediately at home and the situation, so close to the coastline allowed for many trips to the local beaches and all the other amazing places to visit in the Penwith area. We took a drive to experience St Ives over New Year and were nRead moreot disappointed, it was a fun and unique experience with everyone all in costumes enjoying the party atmosphere. Thank you for a fabulous time away. Our dogs loved it too. Hide

Had a great time at The Stables and Amanda and Paul couldnt do enough for us. Amazing house in a great position for exploring a beautiful part of Cornwall. Only sleeps four adults comfortably so we struggled a little with five of us, but the kitchen/living space is fab. Thank you
