With a marvellous location in the historic village of Charlestown, the traditional stone-built cottage of Chy Marner is the perfect place to explore the ‘Cornish Riviera'. With its stunning facade and exposed beams, it gives a nod to the history of the area while introducing a contemporary touch. Walk down to the glorious tall ships that fill the harbour, made famous by the TV series Poldark and Hornblower and discover the fascinating history of the area in the Shipwreck Museum.
The light and airy open-plan living area on the ground floor is gently broken up by touches of bright colour, reflecting the blues of the ocean nearby. Sit back in one of the stylish chairs and enjoy a traditional cream tea after a busy morning browsing the shops and galleries of the village. Large glass doors open out to the part-cobbled street outside, giving a sense of space and light.
Beach lovers will love the fact that they are only 4 miles from the three beaches of Carlyon Bay. Shadowed by the Polperro Heritage Coast with its delightful resorts of Polruan and Fowey on one side, and the Roseland Heritage Coast, leading down towards Bohortha on the other, you are in excellent walking country. Days out include the Eden Project (4 miles away) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (6 miles away).
