The northern coast is within easy reach, while the surfer paradise of Newquay is 19 miles away and the stunning Bodmin Moor is 24 miles.

The town is famous for its Georgian harbour, used as a location in TV's Poldark, and has a glistening sandy beach. Other attractions in Charlestown include the Hidden Valley Gardens, Wingz Bird and Animal Sanctuary and the Charlestown Shipwreck Centre. The popular town of St Austell is only a mile from the apartment, and is packed with great shops, restaurants and leisure facilities to keep you entertained. Clean, well equipped flat for a couple. Good Wi-Fi, close to shops and restaurants . Great to have allocated parking space. The stairs were tiring at first but we soon got used to them.

This holiday home has been lovingly created by the owner to make you feel at home. Contains everything you need for a self catering holiday. Quite a few steps to access the property , fine if mobility isn't an issue. Great to have a designated parking space. Charlestown is a lovely harbour area with lot's of great places to eat. Took us about 10 miRead morenutes to walk down, quite a pull walking back up which is fine if no mobility issues. Great base to explore Cornwall. Hide

Lovely apartment, nicely decorated, clean and airy. Everything we needed for our stay. Nice quiet spot, next to train line so occasional train but really not a problem. Nice little balcony to sit outside. It's about 15 minute walk to large Tesco store which was handy for milk etc.

Lovely, warm and quiet flat in a nice area of Charlestown with great views. Very clean and a well equipped kitchen area. Parking was good and the few steps up to the flat are absolutely no bother. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to use again.

We had a lovely week over the Christmas period. The owners put Christmas decorations up for us, which was a really nice touch. Would highly recommend this apartment, in a quiet residential area with sea views.

The flat is very comfortable and well appointed. We had a lovely week there. As previous reviews mentioned, the scones provided at our arrival were very welcome after a long car journey. We can only highly recommend the accommodation.

Top Sails is very well situated, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. It provided a fantastic base to explore the area on foot, by bike and by car depending on the weather!

This apartment surpassed our expectations. Set in a quiet residential area it was still just a very short walk into Charlestown. The walk to bus stops was even shorter with a very regular bus service which allowed us to leave the car in the allocated parking for the whole stay. Within walking distance of a large supermarket and nearby restaurants iRead moret really suited us. The bed was very comfortable which ensured a good night's sleep after our adventures. Hide

The apartment was very clean and spacious in a quiet corner where neighbours were also quiet. The owner left us some milk, scones, jam and fresh clotted cream as a welcome. Lovely apartment, very clean & comfortable. Good exercise climbing the 39 steps each time, but at least we were aware of them when booking. Lovely area. We travelled around by bus & train mostly rarely using the car so it was mist relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

2nd time staying here. Great location, a spotlessly clean and very quiet apartment that is fairly well equipped, ideal for a getaway for 2 people. Wi-Fi not always great in the lounge which is a shame as even on holiday I had some work to do.

Comfortable and warm during our late March stay with a wonderful view towards the sea. Everything that was required for a nice stay was on hand and the pint of milk, scones, jam and clotted cream were a welcome surprise. Charlestown harbor was lovely and the apartment was a great base for exploring the Cornish south coast.

Fabulous location. Pretty little balcony to eat our breakfast from. A very comfortable bed and all very clean. We loved the sound of trains passing. The estate is beautifully laid out. We could sit in bed and listen to the birds and hear the sea.

Spacious, well equipped, comfortable top floor apartment, with good views in a great location for enjoying Charlestown and walking the South West Coast Path. Spacious allocated parking space in a quiet residential area within easy reach of local amenities. Homemade scones, clotted cream tea was a delightful welcoming gesture.
