This delightful cottage that sleeps up to eight guests is sat in the centre of the coastal town of Bude, a surfer's haven and fantastic family retreat. A great place for a beach holiday, as well as an opportunity to explore the gorgeous countryside or shop in Bude high street, should you fancy a break from your time down on the beach. Make this delightful cottage you home-from-home for your seaside holiday.

Artfully decorated throughout in pale hues with splashes of vibrant colour, it's been designed as a haven for relaxation. Unwind in the garden with a good book, before cooking up a storm and dining in the kitchen/diner with room for eight to enjoy a meal together and share stories of the day's adventure. In the evenings, snuggle up on the sofas around a roaring fire in the feature fireplace or get cosy in the conservatory for drinks under the stars.

There are plenty of beaches in and around Bude - Summerleaze, Crooklets and Bude Beach are all less than a mile's walk from the property. Wander the coast, swim in the tidal pool or go shopping on The Strand beside the River Neet that runs through town. Venture down to Boscastle (15 miles) to see it's pretty harbour or Tintagel Castle (20 miles) and walk through its ruins. The famously steep cobbled streets of Clovelly are 17 miles away and make a wonderful day out for everyone or The Milky Way (16 miles) is a great attraction for families.

I can highly recommend this property, ideally situated for all supermarkets etc and outstanding surrounding beauty, the property itself is really well laid out lovely sized rooms, large conservatory and lovely lounge to the really well equipped kitchen bedrooms and bathrooms are also lovey, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Really well equipped and home from home. The only exception being the carpets require cleaning.

A beautiful home, perfect for what we needed. In a great location close to local amenities. The fire was the perfect addition to make the winter evenings cosy. The owner was really helpful when we weren't sure of a few things. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We quite liked the house for two couples, a few issues with cobwebs in conservatory. Plenty of kitchen items. Exiting the property is very dangerous as its very hard to see oncoming traffic and no one stops to let you out. Garden furniture not as advert photos, garden overgrown and needs some tlc. Pool table not flat, badly warped. House about a miRead morele from centre of Bude. Welcome pack was appreciated. Plenty of storage in garage/utility room. Hide

This property is absolutely lovely and very well equipped. But like other people have said, it needs a good deep clean. The location is brilliant and about a 3 minute drive from the beach.

A lovely place to base yourself for Bude and the surrounding area. The owner is extremely helpful if you need anything during your stay.

Location, comfort and space is very impressive. As five adults, we slept well and enjoyed spreading out around the house. Unfortunately the kitchen was very disappointing - it is a great room but poorly organised, tired furniture and wasn't cleaned as thoroughly as other properties we have stayed at.

Owner decorated the property for us for Xmas and left us some treats which was lovely and thoughtful. The location is good as it is close enough to walk to the town and beach but far enough away to be quiet. Property needs TLC and a deep clean.

The house is about 15/20 minutes walk from Bude town centre which for some people could be a bit challenging if you have health conditions as its an incline on the way back. Good for parking.
