Bridge Lodge is an intriguing wooden cabin where tranquillity and romance unfold in the heart of the Cornish countryside. With its rustic charm, this is a dream hideaway for couples who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find their own slice of rural living. Say hello to the two resident ponies who live in the neighbouring paddock, enjoy a picnic by the small lake, or explore the picturesque nature reserve nearby.

This bijou property has plenty of room for two and the dogs, and everything you'll need to cosy up and relax into that holiday mode. Enjoy evenings snuggled up on the veranda with warm blankets, marshmallows and hot chocolates under the stars. Inside, the natural interiors reflect the rurality of the cabin's location and when it's time to sink beneath a duvet, the journey up the timber ladder in the cosy lounge enhances the feeling of child-like adventure.

Although set in a wonderfully rural location, Bridge Lodge is never far from a top attraction in Cornwall. Lanhydrock House and Gardens are just under 2 miles away, while The Roseland Peninsula with its awe-inspiring coastal scenery is 27 miles away. We had a lovely stay at Bridge Hill, it was exactly the sort of peaceful escape we were looking for. Our host Mary was wonderfully accommodating and the cabin was really cosy. Our dog was also very welcome and had a great time in the garden. We hope to return!

We had a lovely welcome at a beautiful peaceful Lodge. Location was perfect for visiting many local attractions, very relaxing and private too. Great to be able to sit outside in the evening and see the night sky and listen to owls. We were also treated to seeing squirrels while eating breakfast. Really cosy cabin in a lovely peaceful location ideal for travelling around south Cornwall and visiting Eden project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and other wonderful places. Thanks so much to Mrs Coad for her kindness and help during my stay. The cream tea is a lovely welcome to Cornwall

A beautiful lodge tucked away from what feels like the world. Would totally recommend staying here if you like walking and exploring the beautiful countryside. The bedroom isn't the easiest to access though there is a sofa bed downstairs which I found more comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful views and the Redmoor reserve on your doorstep. Cosy cabin in a peaceful woodland setting, everything you need for a lovely chilled out stay. Great to wake up to birdsong. Ducks and geese on the lake. Take your wellies if there's been wet weather so you can walk around the adjoining field and nature reserve. Good Wi-Fi.

Second stay at Bridge Lodge. Love the seclusion and quietness. It is just perfect being about 10mn from Bodmin - this small town is actually pretty central! Theres been some minor changes since we last went: a much larger radiator although it doesnt take much to heat up the lodge + once you start cooking, its actually better off! No more main downsRead moretairs light which could be switched on from upstairs (a shame but not an issue). We will definitely be returning soon-that in itself all Hide
