With views down to the picturesque village of Mevagissey with its charming harbour and quaint village, Treleaven Farmhouse commands a prime location on the south coast of Cornwall. A solar heated shared swimming pool and outdoor space with huge dining table make this property the ideal place to enjoy a special celebration with family and friends. Take evening cocktails on the stone terrace before dinner, then sit back and watch the sparkling lights of the harbour below as you dine.

The interior of the property is not only light and spacious, offering various areas for larger groups to get together to socialise, but it is also cosy enough when the curtains are drawn to find your own corner when you need a little peace. Most of the rooms have far-reaching views either down to the harbour or of the surrounding countryside, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful setting whatever the weather.

Both adults and children will love a trip to the Eden Project, 10 miles by car as well as the botanical paradise of the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 2 miles from the farm. For beach babies, just 2 miles away is Pentewan with its huge sandy beach, great for building sandcastles and playing games. If you like water sports, it is also a popular surfing and sailing spot. Walkers can join the coastal path here and if history is more your thing, take a trip to see the tall ships and Shipwreck Museum at the nearby port of Charlestown.

Treleavan Farmhouse is a wonderful place! We, as a party of 15, found it perfectly spacious and set out. We could enjoy eachother's company, but also have space for ourselves. It accommodated all our needs, with a downstairs bedroom for those less able to manage stairs, and all upstairs bedrooms had an ensuite. The views are spectacular. A spacious comfy house with excellent equipment in the kitchen. Really good separate areas for cooking and washing up-not in each others way! Fabulous swimming pool, lovely views, easy access to village and a good hilly walk across to small beach nearby. Very friendly owner. Always helpful.

We had a lovely week in the house. The kitchen and dining room are well equipped and easy to use. The en-suite bathrooms are very small and quite difficult to use in some cases. It's a pleasant walk down to the town and the gardens will be lovely in summer. The neighbours had a dog which seemed to be let loose and barked a lot.

Great cottage for large groups. 16 of us were here for my wife's 60th . The location was perfect with only a 5 min walk into town. Everything was great with the house and all our group agreed and had a great time. We would definitely recommend this place .

A stunning house set in a beautiful location just before Mevagissey. This meant that we could easily shop in St Austell without the trauma of driving through town! We all walked into Mevagissey, and could look around without having to park there. The pool is extremely large, and is fenced, as is the patio area. Very useful for the littlies. The garRead moredens are stunning with pheasants and squirrels abounding, plus bats in the evening. Lovely place to stay for a large group. Hide
