Once used as a grain store, this renovated cottage has been left with an unusual and enchanting layout. It's a great place to plan your days and unwind during lazy evenings. Go snorkelling among the shallow waters of Perranporth Beach that's only 2 miles away or sailing up and down the rugged coast. After a busily investigating the beaches and trekking the cliffs, you can always wander down to the local pub and savour a delicious full roast and cider in the courtyard.

The decor is made up of neutral colours and delicate patterns providing a comforting and relaxing atmosphere to the place. Prep lunches and snacks in the contemporary kitchen for your adventures across Cornwall. Once you return home boil yourself a pot of tea, settle into the cosy sofas and snuggle up with your loved ones.

If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, roam the coastal path to the fantastical site of Cligga Head (3 miles). St Ives is 24 miles down the coast and a cultural and artistic hub where you can take in vibrant expressionist works and portraits by ancient classicists in the famous Tate Gallery. Really had a wonderful week, everything there in the cottage was a home from home, I took my own iron & hairdryer which wasnt needed as everything you need is there . Adrian & Cher was perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble would definitely book again. Very quiet and secluded was a nice break.

Quiet, but not too far from Perranporth (2m) for restaurants/beach/takeaway, and Newquay for supermarket (7m) Lots of character. Octagonal building, but that didnt make things awkward. Only negative was the extremely soft mattress which we didnt like

We picked the Round House for its location and were influenced by the reviews. It did not disappoint. We ate out 6 out of 7 nights, but the property was spotless, has all necessary equipment and more. We easily visited South & West as well as the immediate area.
