Renowned for its stunning culinary landscape and traditional dishes, Cornwall has become a bright spot in the South West for foodies across the UK, and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant is continuing the county's glowing reputation after scooping a healthy menu award.

The popular eatery, which can be found at Watergate Bay, was awarded the prestigious Gold Level CHEFS Award in recognition of its commitment to offering healthy menu alternatives using locally sourced food.

Andy Appleton, head chef at Fifteen Cornwall, said the award was a 'great achievement for the team' and praised the hard working staff for their work towards highlighting the 'importance of healthy eating'.

Should you be planning some Cornwall cottage holidays over the course of 2013, why not book a table at Fifteen and see for yourself why the restaurant has been awarded such a prestigious prize?
